Your parents hold precious memories that you and your children will treasure, and capturing them doesn’t have to be difficult. As an experienced interviewer and author, I make the process fun – I have several conversations with your parent that are then turned into a book with minimal effort on their part.

The process is simple. We decide which type of book best suits your needs, then I interview your parent either face-to-face or over Zoom. From those recordings, I pull together an outline which you and your parent can approve, and finally, I write the manuscript. We add photos, and once everything is agreed, I arrange for the printing of your beautiful hardcover books. Depending on the size of the project, it can take from six weeks to six months to complete.
The commitment of your parent’s time is minimal – I can produce a life overview with just four hours of interviews, but most people opt for about twelve. A full breakdown of costs is available on the production page, but prices for a life story vary from £2,500 to over £15,000.
